The Rebelhorn Range motorcycle textile pants are a product that is gaining increasing popularity among motorcyclists. In this review, we will take a look at their advantages and disadvantages to help you decide if they are the right choice for you. The 3000 km I rode in them allowed me to form a solid opinion.

Motorcycle textile pants are an essential part of every motorcyclist's wardrobe. Rebelhorn Range is a new model from a Polish manufacturer that may gain recognition among many users due to its functionality and comfort. In this review, I will take a closer look at these pants, analyzing their construction, materials, and practicality in everyday use.
I bought them before our motorcycle trip to Norway and rode 3000 km in them in totally different weather conditions, from heavy rain and cold wind to hot (for Norway) 25 degrees. The pants are not cheap, costing 1300 PLN, and as far as I know, they are the most expensive offering from a Polish brand.
History of the Rebelhorn brand
The Rebelhorn brand has been specializing in motorcycle clothing for years. Starting as a small company with a passion for motorcycles, it quickly gained a reputation for the high quality of its products. Motorcycle textile pants have become one of the flagship products of the brand, and the Range model is a perfect example of this.
Evolution of motorcycle textile pants
Over the years, motorcycle textile pants have undergone significant evolution. Initially, they were simple protective garments without additional features. Today, they offer advanced technologies such as waterproof membranes, ventilation systems, and certified protectors.
Construction and materials
Durability of materials

The Rebelhorn Range pants are made from high-quality materials such as Tactel, Hitena Dobby Balistic, 4-way stretch, and ballistic nylon. These fabrics provide not only abrasion resistance but also comfort during long rides.

It's worth pausing here for a moment because this is a different type of material than the nylon you are used to. In the video review of the Rebelhorn Range pants, I often refer back to my previous textile pants from Macna. They used polyester, which is rough and not very pleasant to the touch. The material chosen by Rebelhorn for the Range model is a completely new quality; when you have the chance in the store, feel a few types of pants, and you'll see what I mean. It's nice and soft like cotton.
Additionally, in the areas of contact with the motorcycle, namely the crotch and around the knees, the company opted for something sticky - the material used here adheres well to the tank and enhances the feeling of the motorcycle.
Waterproof membrane

One of the key elements of these pants is the Sympatex waterproof membrane. Thanks to it, the user can feel confident even during heavy rain. This membrane effectively protects against moisture while allowing the skin to breathe.
I experienced this on the 3rd day in Norway when we rode all day in intermittent rain. A very pleasant surprise because you don't need rain pants, perhaps partly due to the large tank of my BMW F850 GS Adventure. In any case, the pants performed well and did not get soaked. The coldest it got was about 7 degrees, and the pants with the inserted membrane and thermal leggings underneath were enough to maintain comfort; I didn't take any insulation for this trip.
Comfort of use
Fit and adjustment
The Rebelhorn Range pants offer a wide range of adjustments thanks to Velcro straps placed at the waist and cuffs. This allows for a perfect fit to the motorcyclist's figure, but not for everyone. Additionally, flexible panels at the knees increase freedom of movement.

Why not for everyone? Unfortunately, I didn't have time for more fittings; in the store, trying on size M, I opted for L, which I ordered online. The manufacturer is struggling with production, and this year you probably won't get them in that size.
In general, I wanted them to be light, but they were only black. To the point.

The cuffs, if you want to use them with high off-road boots - I use Alpinestars Toucan - cannot accommodate them. Even though the zipper and Velcro can't hold them together, I constantly have the ventilation on. Trying to force the zipper closed significantly restricts freedom of movement when bending my legs.
Another downside is the sizing; at my height of 190 cm, I opted for L, but unfortunately, while the waist fits well, the cuffs are too short. If you want to wear short boots with them, your calves will stick out, and it will simply be drafty.
The last disadvantage, which may not be one when paired with the dedicated jacket from Rebelhorn, is the connection between the jacket and pants. For the test, I used my Macna jacket, and as you can see in the video, I have two zippers there just like with the Rebelhorn Range pants. The long zipper significantly increases thermal comfort while riding, but unfortunately, the tension caused by pulling the jacket down by the pants' zipper is, at least for me, unbearable in the long run. I feel like my spine is being compressed by this connection after a while of riding. Hopefully, the dedicated jacket will be more thoughtfully designed in this regard.
It may be an issue due to my height of 190 cm, but I didn't have this feeling when pairing the complete pants and jacket from the same manufacturer - Macna.
Ventilation and thermal lining
The built-in ventilation system makes these pants suitable for both warm days and cooler evenings. The removable thermal lining provides additional thermal insulation in colder conditions.
More can be said about ventilation; apart from the previously mentioned issue with the cuffs - the two-way zipper in my case is unnecessary. The gigantic ventilation openings on the thighs provide pleasant cooling during walks, but unfortunately, this is not the fault of the pants; the large tank on the GS effectively protects against wind from the front while also negating the cooling potential that the pants provide.

Here I must admit I was afraid that rain would pour in, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Safety
CE Protectors
Safety is a priority for every motorcyclist. The Rebelhorn Range pants are equipped with certified knee protectors (CE Level 2) and hip protectors (CE Level 2), with space for an additional tailbone protector (available for purchase). These protectors can be easily removed or replaced according to your needs.
Reflective elements
To increase visibility at night, the pants have numerous reflective elements strategically placed on the cuffs and hips. This significantly improves safety while riding at night.
Practicality and functionality
Pockets and storage
The Rebelhorn Range pants are equipped with numerous zippered pockets. This is an ideal place to store small items such as keys or a mobile phone.
- 2 side pockets
- waterproof zippered side pocket
- 2 gigantic cargo pockets - I kept my wallet in one of them
Ease of maintenance
The material used to produce these pants is easy to keep clean. Most dirt can be removed with a damp cloth or sponge. The pants can also be hand washed according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Summary of the Rebelhorn Range review
The Rebelhorn Range motorcycle textile pants are a product worth considering for any motorcyclist looking for comfort and safety while riding. However, it is worth noting the sizing; tall individuals may not be satisfied with the short cuffs, in my opinion. With solid construction, advanced technologies, and numerous practical features, they are an excellent choice for both short rides and long touring trips.
