Introduction – Poland’s BMW Motorrad capital in the Beskid Mountains
The first weekend of September 2025 once again transformed Wisła into a Polish version of Garmisch-Partenkirchen – set in the heart of southern Poland, surrounded by the forested hills of the Beskid Mountains. The BMW Motorrad Days Poland village was traditionally located at the foot of the Adam Małysz Ski Jump in Wisła Malinka. Beyond concerts, test rides and the exhibition area, the real highlight for riders were the three official routes: Touring, Adventure and GS Challenge.
From the very beginning, it is worth highlighting one thing for international visitors: all these routes are now available as GPX files, making it easy to plan a motorcycle trip to Poland and ride them independently, at your own pace.
Event atmosphere – a motorcycle weekend in southern Poland
BMW Motorrad Days Poland 2025 took place from 5–7 September, traditionally during the first weekend of the month.
Friday marked the official opening of the event village, a motorcycle parade through the streets of Wisła and the ceremonial start of the weekend. The parade attracted large crowds of locals and tourists, turning the town into a true motorcycle showcase of Poland.
Saturday focused on riding: briefings, route departures and muddy returns from the mountains. Weather conditions made sure no one stayed clean, especially on the Adventure and GS Challenge sections.
Sunday had a calmer rhythm – departures, goodbyes and the first plans to return to Poland again, often with a simple idea: download the GPX files and come back to ride the routes without time pressure.
Touring Route – asphalt, views and classic Polish mountain roads
The Touring Route was designed for riders who wanted to enjoy scenic roads and mountain views rather than off-road challenges. It followed some of the most picturesque paved roads of the Beskid Śląski region, connecting Wisła with neighbouring towns and mountain passes.
The route suited touring motorcycles and adventure bikes alike, even with a passenger and luggage. Planned stops included viewpoints, cafés and local attractions, turning the ride into a full-day motorcycle journey through southern Poland.
If you want to recreate this ride in Poland, the GPX file allows you to experience the route freely, stopping whenever the scenery or the smell of fresh coffee tells you to.
Adventure Route – light off-road riding in the Polish mountains
The Adventure Route offered a balanced mix of narrow asphalt roads and unpaved sections. Designed for adventure motorcycles on standard tyres, it allowed riders to taste off-road riding in Poland without extreme difficulty.
Gravel roads, forest tracks and short technical sections provided a perfect introduction to adventure riding in the Beskid Mountains. For many riders, this route was a natural step before considering the GS Challenge.
Using the GPX file, international visitors can treat this route as a personal training loop and an excellent way to explore less-known motorcycle roads in Poland.
GS Challenge sections – advanced off-road riding in Poland
The GS Challenge sections represented the most demanding part of BMW Motorrad Days Poland 2025. Originally created exclusively for BMW GS motorcycles, these routes combined technical obstacles, timed sections and demanding terrain in the Beskid Mountains.
Riders spent most of the day in the mountains before returning to the event village for final timed stages and the award ceremony.
The shared GPX tracks should be treated as inspiration rather than an exact recreation. Mountain terrain in Poland changes quickly, especially after heavy rain, making every ride unique.
Event village, parade and rider community
Although routes are the heart of the event, BMW Motorrad Days Poland is much more than riding alone. The motorcycle parade through Wisła, concerts, exhibitions and meetings with riders from across Poland create a strong sense of community. For international riders, this atmosphere is part of the reason why Poland is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for motorcycle travel in Central Europe.
Downloading GPX routes – planning your motorcycle trip to Poland
Sharing GPX files means BMW Motorrad Days Poland does not end when the event weekend is over.
With Touring, Adventure and GS Challenge tracks saved in your navigation device, you can plan a multi-day motorcycle trip across southern Poland: one day focused on asphalt, another on light off-road riding and a third inspired by more demanding GS Challenge sections.
GPX files work with dedicated motorcycle GPS devices as well as popular mobile navigation apps. Always remember that mountain roads and trails change over time – treat GPX tracks as guidance, not a guarantee of identical conditions.
If you are looking for a reason to visit Poland on a motorcycle, these BMW Motorrad Days Poland GPX routes offer a ready-made invitation to explore the Beskid Mountains on two wheels.
